Polydor Fontana Polygram Polystar
Dutch giant Phillips was initially behind the Australian operations, ramping up their local content from the mid sixties. Their Polydor label was used for an early compilation - Sample Bag - in late 1970, but it was the 1975 Ripper album - Fontana - that got the ball rolling. Once the Universal Music group was formed subsequent releases were made through the Polystar imprint.
